Sustainable Design Talk - Recording Available

On Thursday 24th June, the AACT hosted a double-header talk on Sustainable Design and a preview of the upcoming Feasibility Study.

David Seel, from the Scottish Ecological Design Association, gave a thought provoking introduction to Sustainable Design with examples from projects across Europe from small housing projects to the largest urban park in the world, and how it aligned with the community vision for the Astley Ainslie.

Oliver Chapman, Hazel Allen, Neil Bancroft and Neil Collins then previewed the Feasibility Study of Zone 2, covering the value of the greenspace using Natural Capital, how the existing buildings can be used to deliver the community vision, and a phased approach to developing the site.
