Our Unique City post-Covid – An on-line talk by Cliff Hague

First in a series of new community engagement events

AACT are delighted to welcome Emeritus Professor Cliff Hague, OBE, Chair of the Cockburn Association, to give a talk on the development challenges facing Edinburgh in the light of dramatic changes brought about by the Covid pandemic. The talk will highlight key issues, such as the need to conserve the natural and built environment and the value of public open space as a resource for health and wellbeing. These are at the heart of the AACT’s vision for the Astley Ainslie’s site, so the talk will be incredibly interesting and relevant. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask Cliff questions.

The talk will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 21st April at 7.30 and will last approximately 1 ½ hours. Here's the link for tickets. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/our-unique-city-post-covid-cliff-hague-tickets-148923681741

The Cockburn Association is the country’s oldest independent conservation charity. Its aim is to protect, preserve and promote the civic amenity, built environment and natural heritage of Edinburgh.
